Hi I’m Wendi, the owner and designer at Brushfire Designs. I’ve been styling my entire life, and have been blessed to make this my full time passion. The spark began and Brushfire was born. This also gave me a place for new growth after the ashes.

I graduated with a degree in apparel design and production from Colorado State University and interned in London for a Couture wedding dress designer. Suddenly I found myself in the construction industry for almost 16 years. This is where I learned the ins and outs of general contracting, and subcontracting. My design background and understanding of construction have married themselves as my superpower.

I have a certification in Expert Psychological Staging and Color Consulting and currently serve as Secretary of the National Real Estate Stager Association and Central Texas Chapter. The advice, support and mentorships I have found in this group have been a immeasurable. I continue to find camaraderie in many outlets of our community.

I believe your spaces should reflect all the best parts of you and your experiences. I will push you to move beyond your comfort zone and create a truly unique and thoughtfully curated place you are proud of. I am thrilled to be doing what I love everyday and spreading my brushfire to ignite a positive change others’ lives as well.

Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that. Don’t be impressed with yourself. Don’t compare yourself with others. Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life.
